The Lower Broad Street area has bars restaurants and amusements for everyone. There are pictures of one of the oldest and more notorious establishments in Nashville, "Tootsie's Orchid Lounge." This place dates back more than 60 years. During the time the Grand Ole Opry was at the famous Ryman Auditorium, it was the place the performers from the Opry went for their refreshments. It was a short walk from the side door of the Ryman to the back door of "Tootsie's" for those with a thirst.
