Little Disquietude ReviewThis story was so much fun to read, I read it in a day. The characters were sublime and off-beat with a hint of dry humor and a slathering of camaraderie and passion. They were so like real friends truly are, lovable when unlovable and more family than blood could ever hope to be. I really liked the way the author didn't sugar coat the insecurities and less than stellar aspects of the characters personalities. I want to be able to love and sometime dislike the characters I read about because that's what makes them vibrant and three dimensional to me. This author seems to get that. Love the theater angle as well. The author seems to have as much passion for the characters as the characters have for the theater. I was rooting for them all, even the ones who tested my ability to do so. I love a complex character with layers and a desire to be truly known and loved. I hope there's more to come from this very talented author.Little Disquietude OverviewNew York City native Leah Fisher, an actress you probably haven't heard of, is getting her big break in the premiere of a brand new musical' All the way down in North Carolina. In Durham she meets Sophia Medina, the understudy unexpectedly playing Lady Macbeth in the theater season's token Shakespeare play.Leah is smitten, but trying to balance lust and drama isn't easy, especially when her director, her leading man, and the entire South might be conspiring to ruin her.
